About

Myself, my Daughter and Wally the Green Monster

Welcome to my blog!  I am Brian Weigler.  I am originally from Pelham, NH, but currently I live in Londonderry, NH with my amazing wife and beautiful daughter, who has taught me more in 9 months than I ever thought possible.  I also have a dog, Huckleberry, and two cats, Scooter and Jasper.

I am two courses away (ED 532 and ED 535) away from receiving my Masters in Special Education with a focus on Learning Disabilities, and become certified in Learning Disabilities, as well.  I received my certificate in General Special Education at the conclusion  of my student teaching in the Fall of 2011.  I received my Bachelor’s degree from Colby-Sawyer College in New London, NH in the area of Sports Management.  I worked for the Lowell Spinners (Class A Affiliate of the Boston Red Sox) right out of college, and New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Class AA Affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays) from 2004 until 2007.  While I enjoyed both organizations, it was time for me to move on and explore the field of education.

I have worked as a paraprofessional in the Pelham School District, working with children with a wide range of disabilities, up until I started my student teaching at Lamprey River Elementary School (LRES) in Raymond, NH.  Currently, I am working as a Long-Term Substitute in Title I at Pelham Elementary.  At the conclusion of that, I will be Long-Term Substituting in the Special Education Department at Pelham Memorial School.

I am an avid golfer, and love to support the Red Sox and Patriots!
